Run For Miracles

Every year the Assabet Valley High School in Marlborough, MA hosts an event called March for Miracles, where the Student Council raises money for the Boston Children's Hopsital. All proceeds go to the hospital and the theme this year is superheroes and our slogan is "Big Hopes for Little Heroes" and we have activites for people of all ages from dunking teachers in our dunk tank to watching the animal show to bouncy houses. This year we are hosting our first race to not only help fundraise but to also bring more friends and family from every corner who love running. Our race will begin @10: 30 A.M. on the Assabet Valley Track field. Registration will be open on April 1st and pricing begins at $25, which includes a shirt and admissions to the March For Miracles event which will begin at 11. Fruits and water will be available upon finishing as well. Remember, after the race feel free to "March" over to our main event on the football field where all activites will be happening.

The race begins on the track and runners will run two laps on the track and on the third lap they will run over to the upper fields where the lacrosse fields are. Runners will stay to the left on the fence line all the way down then along the tree line at the bottom of the field, then along the bike trail fence until they reach a gate at which they cross and head over to the Hudson side of the trail.Runners will continue on the path until they reach the end of the wooden railings ( just in front of the large stone walls) where they will turn around and head back to that same gate. When the runners arrive at the gate they will then run the fence line towards the upper lacrosse field. As well as the tree line and along the fence nearing the parking lot. They will then run onto the track where they do 2 more laps and finish where they started. Although the race map says different, the milage is around 3.4 or 3.5, it has been run by one of our hosts. Upon finishing they will be fruits and water available nearby.
