Run Fast For Flint 5k Race Description
Raise money to combat Flint, Michigan's water crisis while you run!
Race begins in the parking lot of Greenwich High School at 10 a.m, July 27th. Prizes for top three runners (female/male) and first in each age group. All proceeds go to Mari Copeny's fund for free water bottles for families in Flint.
The people of Flint, Michigan have been without clean water for over four years. Ever since the free water bottle program ended last year, the citizens have been relying heavily on outside donations and nonprofits to purchase water bottles for drinking, cooking, cleaning, and bathing.
Our goal with this 5k fundraiser in Greenwich, New York is to raise money to help citizens in Flint purchase the water bottles they use every day. Let’s bring our community together to help another in need.
Run with us on Saturday, July 27th for a good cause and a good time.
