DC Run Against Guns Race Description
I’m Jessica, an 11th grader at a local DC high school. I organized Run Against Guns at the end of 9th grade, after our school had a lockdown for a nearby threat.
Run Against Guns is a 5k to raise money for Giffords Law Center, an organization fighting to end the gun violence epidemic in the US. It is on Sunday, October 6th at 8am, at the Rock Creek Tennis Center in DC. Registration is $45 with a t-shirt, and $35 without. DC 5k Review
A little hilly, but ultimately a well organized and enjoyable run! And it was for a great cause and I look forward to participating again in 2024.
