River Bottom Country

River Bottom Country Runs for St Jude returns for our 6th Annual race on June 10, 2023 @ 7:00AM It will feature a 5K, Half Marathon and two-person Half Marathon Relay that will test your strength and agility as you navigate central Illinois' finest farm country. These scenic runs start with a .25 mile hill and then flatten out for the remainder of the course. All races are out and back style ending downhill, making your last mile your fastest! New for 2023: A water cannon for the Half Marathon course, courtesy of Goodfield Fire Department! Prizes will be awarded to the top female and male per race. 5K Finishers will receive River Bottom Country Runs coozie, donuts, bananas and beer. (racers 21 years or older) Half Marathon and Half Marathon Relay Finishers will receive a finishers medal, coozie, donuts, bananas and beer. (racers 21 years or older) Packet Pick-Up is RACE DAY ONLY starting at 6am. All proceeds will benefit the world renowned St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. St Jude has increased childhood cancer survival rates from 20% to over 80% in 60 years while freely sharing its research and findings with hospitals around the globe. Families never receive a bill from St Jude, because all a family should ever need to worry about is helping their child live.
