Lace-Up-Bringing Hope to Orphans and Foster Children 5K Run/Walk Race Description

We are so excited to be back in person this year after having to do a virtual race last year due to COVID.  We are making a few changes from our original races that were pre-Covid, but it will still be just as much fun!   This year's race will be either a 1 Mile Family Fun Walk or 5K Fun Run/Walk.

Location: Lake Country Lutheran High School in Hartland, WI.

Changes due to COVID for this year: 1) This year's race will be a fun run only- we will not be timing the race this year.  2) We will not be having a post race celebration.  Water and snacks to be provided at the finish line post race.

Register by 12:00am on 10/19 to receive a free race day t-shirt with your registration.

Our fundraising efforts will be directed to two causes. Locally, we will support the Royal Family Kids Camp Hartland (www.hartland.royalfamilykids.org) which is a summer camp for children in the foster care system who have been abused, neglected and abandoned. Globally, we have partnered for 9 years with Orphan Outreach (www.orphanoutreach.org) to support vulnerable children in Jelgava, Latvia, who have aged out of the Jelgava City Orphanage. This includes humanitarian aid, life skills training, mentoring, employment help and Bible studies.

Race Entry pricing:

Individual 15 years & older- $25

Youth Ages 14 & under- $15
