The honey tree equestrian team which is made up of high school and junior high riders is hosting a trail run to benefit the local Ronald McDonald house. The run will mimic an equestrian hunter pace where runners go across a trail following flags. You will go through fields by three ponds and through our jump field. The run will be about a 5k.
Trail run through Equestrian Property that mimics time-honored Hunter Pace Competition. Follow the flags through a series of fields, trails and by three ponds as an equestrian hunter pacing team would do during competition. Walkers welcomed! Due to the conditions, baby strollers will not be able to be on the trail. Leashed dogs are welcomed.
The Hunter Pace Trail run will begin in Honey Tree's Jump Field - with a brief explanation of the jumps. Runners/walkers will then strike out on their own, following the Hunter pace course across the 130 acres of Honey Tree Property.
Proceeds will go to assist families at the Ronal McDonald House. The Honey Tree Interscholastic Equestrian Team is not only a competition team for junior and high school students, but also one that works in the community to assist where possible.
