Race Description

Join us for a picturesque 1/2 marathon with a 1300 ft decent. Top of the canyon is 7000 ft to 5612 ft at the finish. This scenic run begins 30 miles south of Richfield, off of I-70 at exit 7. Runners will start at the top of Clear Creek Canyon running beside a beautiful creek and through steep canyon cliffs. Runners will continue past the Fremont Indian park and it's 14 points of interest from newspaper rock, cave of 100 hands, Indian blanket, and the sheep shelter cave, to name a few.
Come early or stay a couple days to enjoy some of the local attractions. Check out the museum and all of it's petroglyphs, pictographs and artifacts. Enjoy our trails for hiking, 4-wheeling, and fishing. Camp out or come stay in the many hotels in Sevier County.

I did the 5k...it as awesome. It doesn't suck as much to run when you're in such a beautiful canyon!
