There are approximately 8.1 million people with diabetes and they do not know they have the disease. African Americans are nearly two times more likely to develop diabetes. Come join the African American Community Roundtable for our Diabetes Awareness & Prevention 5K where you will not only have an opportunity to get active but take advantage of screenings and various resources on the prevention and treatment of diabetes.
