1 Mile Run in Memory of Justin M Flores

Hey everyone! Thank you for taking the time to view my event! I'll start by introducing myself, my name is Ashley (Flores) Hurst, I am the sister of Justin M Flores. As many of you know he passed away on April 11, 2010 in a horrible car accident on highway 44 while heading to Freer with some friends. My brothers passion was running! He started running in 7th grade when Coach Trevino gave the chubby short kid a chance. After his first year (of losing) he loved the rush, the excitement of trying to beat everyone else so he continued to do it until his junior year at San Diego High School where the team made it to the State Finals! Running is what my brother lived for, I'll never forget after every meet he would come home get me and tell me every thing about every ribbon or metal he got that day. Those are memories I'll cherish forever. I'm doing this memorial run to honor him, his friends and his passion. All funds and donations made from this event go toward scholarships. I want to thank you for taking the time to visit my event and helping me in keeping my brothers memory alive!
