July 17th is National Ice Cream Day! Join us at Turtle Lake in Plainfield, IL to help celebrate the day! The course is a 1.2 mile loop on a paved bike trail around a smaller section of the park. Runners & Walkers are both welcome. The course will be open from 8 am- 11 am. For every 1.2 mile loop completed they will receive a scoop of ice cream from the Rainbow Cone Truck after they have finished. 6 total loops is the maximum for the event. What better way to celebrate the occasion than by burning a few calories exercising followed by a big scoop of ice cream to celebrate your accomplishment!

This is not a chip timed race. There are also no age group awards. This is purely a fun event to burn a few calories and enjoy some delicious Rainbow Cone Ice Cream after!
Runners & Walkers can start their loops for scoops anytime between 8 am- 10 am and all participants must be done by 11 am.
