Path to Prevention Race Description
Welcome to the Race with a cause. We are working to prevent drug misuse.
Did you know:
Eleven people die from a prescription overdose every week in Utah.
50% of Utah youth who say they had a drink in the past 30-days also report binge drinking in the past 2 weeks.
12.3% of young people in grades 8, 10, and 12 vape in Utah
We work to prevent these problems from happening. Any/all proceeds from this race go towards our coalition work to prevent underage drinking and other drug misuse.

I did the 5k race and had a lot of fun. The course was easy to follow with volunteers to cheer you on. They had a neat little finish line area, again with volunteers cheering runners as they finished and handing out medals. There were a few booths near the finish line where they provided runners with drinks, snacks, and a wet cooling towel. The race intends to educate folks on ways to prevent opioid and other substance misuse, they do a good job of providing information about that in the swag bags and with some messaging at the race. Being a smaller race it is awesome that they still provide chip timing, and it is easy to find times/results. The race was well organized. I would definitely participate in this race again.

This was my first year running this race but it won’t be my last! I loved it! There were a lot of aid stations and they were well stocked. The volunteers were great, and the course was beautiful! We will have to make this a yearly tradition!

You all are always very well organized, friendly, and put on a great race for an inexpensive price tag. I would certainly recommend to a friend.

I Love this Race! I Love Participating in This Race! I Loved Seeing an Increase in Runners this Year!! I've been Running This Race for 4 years and to see an Increase in Participants for a Great Cause Makes My Heart Happy!! Thank you for Everyone involved in this Run !!

Well run! Everything from the shuttle to the start / finish line and aid stations was amazing!
