I enjoyed this course. The staff and volunteers were wonderful. I liked the downhill start and long downhill to the finish. I always enjoy smaller race groups and the variety of run or walkers. I enjoy the challenge of running and like giving back to the community.

Everything was so well organized! From parking, to packet pick-up, course communication, clearly marked course, and the awards- the morning flowed smoothly. The course was challenging, as the word “mountain†in the race title adequately describes. It was a race that pushed me physically and mentally, and left me feeling most accomplished as I crossed the finish line! Greater Atlanta Athletes, you organized a top notch race once again!

This was an awesome race. The course is scenic and shaded. It did have inclines but declines followed quickly contributing to a fun but challenging course. A small part of the course leaves the paved trail and that was the worse part of the race - recent rain made it unpleasant and I would prefer to have stayed on paved trail for the entire race. With that said, overall it’s an excellent course. I’ll run it next year!

Great energy from race volunteers. Just before the 1 mile mark some 5K runners turned left and I yelled at them to go straight as I had run the first 2 miles as a warmup. Should've had a volunteer there to be sure no one turned too early. Tough course but really scenic and enjoyable. Efficient awards ceremony except for the error with the overall winner.
