orangeandblackgetfit Hero Hustle 5k Color Walk and Run Race Description

Come join #orangeandblackgetfit and Operation Veterans Helping Veterans for our 5th Annual Hero Hustle 5k Walk/Run. To celebrate 5 years, we are doing a COLOR RUN!

We are excited to honor our military men and women in our surrounding communities. All proceeds will go directly to support the Veterans and the #orangeandblackgetfit team in order to continue both non-profit programs.

All Veterans are FREE! Please contact Autumn Hendershot (740-624-1617 or via Facebook) to show proof of service. Children 9 and under are also FREE (shirt NOT included).

Please come between 8:20-4:40 a.m to pick up your shirt and to register last minute. Registering the morning of the race does not guarantee a shirt. We will be located at the pavilion in front of the Cy Young pool. Parking will be at the park, near the baseball field.

The opening ceremony will begin at 8:45 a.m with the Newcomerstown American Legion and Operation Veterans Helping Veterans. The walk/run will begin at 9:00 a.m and end at 10:00 a.m. All participants will receive water and a snack.

SHIRTS- Even though you choose your shirt size, please message Ashley Klier (740-294-1378 or via Facebook) to ensure what STYLE of shirt you would like. Please let her know if you would like a tee-shirt or a muscle tank.

Cannot wait to see you there! Please make not that the rain date will be May 14, 2022- same place and time. Please join this event on Facebook to keep up on updates, race map, ect.
