Nishna Valley Triathlon

This triathlon is full of small town hospitality. 

The race was established in the summer of 1982. The race is a point to point sprint Triathlon. The swim is a 750 meter 2 lap course in Cold Springs State Park. Athletes will transition from swim to bike at Cold Springs and complete the 20k course to Griswold High School on rolling county and state roads. Athletes may register as an individual racer, or in the relay team division (teams may have 3 athletes per team).

For the first female and male athletes to complete the swim and climb out of the park on their bikes to the top of Hawk Hill will receive a custom Nishna Valley Triathlon belt buckle. Bike to run transition is at Griswold High School, the run is a flat and fast 5k around the perimeter of Griswold finishing back at the high school. 

Stick around for awards and post race goodies that include homemade pies, cookies, sandwiches and refreshments. There might be some fruit as well. 

**This will be a USAT Sanctioned event. All participants will need to have either a 1 day pass or annual USAT membership**
