NAU ARMY ROTC 5K Race Description
Run or walk, it doesn't matter! Bring your family and friends and enjoy a 5k throughout the beautiful NAU Campus. There will be prizes for those who compete, and raffles for all. One free raffle ticket will be distributed to each runner/walker, with plenty more available for purchase. Food and drinks will also be provided. $20 entry per person, $12 for children 6 - 12, Children 5 and under are free! *Note small service fee with online registration. *3.7K route available for walkers.
The NAU Army ROTC 5k benefits both the NAU Army ROTC program that works to build future officers for the United States Army and the Martha Portree Scholarship foundation that supports young, single mothers in thier pursiut of higher education. Over the past 4 years, we have been able to donate over $2,500.00 to the scholarship foundation due, in part, to benevolent sponsers that support our event.
*Shirts can be picked up the day of the race. Race will start at 0930 so make sure you show up early to check in! The race will start at and end at the ROTC building 47A, located across the street from Hilltop Town homes which is at 1401 S San Francisco St, Flagstaff, AZ 86011.
