Milwood 5K Race Description
A 5K Run/Walk in the Milwood neighborhood, bringing neighbors together to celebrate all that our neighborhood has to offer!
RACE STARTS AND ENDS AT THREADS CHURCH
(2031 E. Cork Street)
REGISTRATION STARTS AT 9:30am
Park at Milwood Magnet School.
Three different events will occur on this day:
*5K Run/Walk - 10am ($25)*
*Student Scramble - 11am (free)*
(Kindergarten - 5th grade) shorter run
*Garden Stampede 11:30am (free)*
(Preschoolers) around the ROOTS Community Garden
FREE T-shirt with 5K registration. Student Scramble and Garden Stampede are free events - T-shirts can be purchased for $10.
Online registration deadline: May 31 at 11:59pm.
You may register on the day of the races. $30/5K. Other races are free.
T-shirts are not guaranteed if registering after May 19.
Following the races will be the annual Milwood Neighborhood Party. Stay for a meal (served at 11:45am), as well as games, inflatables and other activities for all ages - all FREE!
All proceeds from this fundraising race will go to support Milwood Commons, a neighborhood development organization promoting the thriving of the Milwood neighborhood. Learn more at www.milwoodcommons.org.
