Meraki Trail Adventure Race Description

Meraki is a Greek word that means “to do something with passion, with absolute devotion, with undivided attention”.

There are many reasons why our participants participate in our events, but they all can agree on the fact, when they are running/walking/hobbling on the trails, they are doing so with passion, devotion, and undivided attention.

The Meraki Trail Run is run on an approximately 3.65 mile loop, with time to complete up to 5 loops. Bullfrogs and songbirds will be your soundtrack. Muskrats, deer, forest, and wildflowers will be your backdrop. The new spring grass will give you the bounce in your step to complete your chosen distance (or perhaps more)! This trail is a combination of mostly double-wide trails that are either grass or dirt, through heavily wooded sections of open prairie and hills (just a few!).  This event also has a relay option for up to a team of 4 to increase the fun.

Online sign-up will conclude at 10am on the Friday before the event, same day sign-up will be available.

This event is perfect for all fitness levels and is dog-friendly for those not interested in participating in the Canicross event.

RUNsurance is being offered on this event.  If selected for any reason you are unable to attend this event, you can defer your entry to the next year's event, run a similarly priced event, or get 80% of your entry fee refunded.  To take advantage of this offer, simply select "RUNSURANCE" as an option during the event registration.  If you do miss an event in which you have purchased RUNSURANCE, a member of the Kenosha Running Company staff will contact you about your options.

This event is a part of our Red White & Blue program in which military, police, firefighters, sheriffs, and their spouses can run tfor 50% off.

Please contact us at kenosharunningcompany@gmail.com to receive a code to sign-up online for the reduced price during online registration.  When emailing, please include the event you are interested in running, and a copy of your military or work id, as the codes are race specific.
