MARINE MUD RUN Race Description

This course will be CHALLENGING. Would you expect anything less from Marines? It consists roughly of 3 miles of off-road running, which entails some obstacles, hills, and of course, mud pits. We recommend that you wear old clothing and shoes! This off road 5K adventure takes you across scenic trails and fields, obstacles, sections of lake, mud pits, and ends with a splash through refreshing water! It is open to individuals and teams. Run as individual or a team. A special 200 meter kid's event that includes our largest muddy pit! Be prepared for some real clean fun! Melton Hill Lake and local Fire Dept is available for those who will need cleansed afterwards...Visit Knoxville's 4th Combat Engineer Battalion's static display. Marines will make sure you successfully complete their challenge! Toys-for-Tots drop-off point. Don't be UA - sign the dotted line today. Scuttlebutt at www.KnoxMud.org
