Poorly Organized
I have ran this even twice with 2019 being most recent. The event is very poorly organized. Even if you pre-register, they require you to complete paperwork on race day. The race does not start on time with multiple speakers taking turn speaking on the podium. The race started nearly 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. Also, the course is not closed. Pedestrians are crossing the streets with no regards to runners. Bikers and people riding on scooters are prevalent on the course. Considering this was the 9th year of the event, there should be no excuse for these type of things.
