LOMA Kids Triathlon Race Description
This event is for kids between 6 and 12 years of age. There are 3 age groups in both the male and female divisions. 6-8, 9-10 and 11-12. The race consists of three events starting with swimming, then biking and last running. Swimming distances are 50 yards for the 6-8 division, 100 yards for the 9-10 division and 150 yards for the 11-12 division. The race will begin with heats. Places will be awarded to the different age groups for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both the male and female division. There is a post race pool party open to the participants and their families with prizes being awarded through drawings. Each athlete will receive a t-shirt, swag bag and a medal upon completing the event.
