Limb Loss Awareness 5K Race Description

Join the limb loss support network for an educational and family fun filled day at Bowen Station Park! This annual 5k will raise money for Kentwood Parks and Recreation's adaptive programs and provide community, education, and support to amputees, their families, and the community. The Hanger Clinic is excited to provide this exciting event at Kentwood's beautiful Bowen Station and trail system. Registration fee will get you a long sleeve shirt, swag bag, and race entry. This will be a professionally timed race but all abilities are welcome! This event may look different than in years past as all current COVID recommendations and best practices will be followed. That may include staggered start times, limited refreshments and contact points. However, our goal is to provide a fun environment that participants can enjoy after the race. If regulations allow after the race we will have awards, snacks, and education! View race map: https://www.plotaroute.com/route/599909?units=km

Family Fun area will include yard games, chalk and more! Even if your little one can't participate they are welcome to come and play!
