Laine N. Dempsey Memorial Olympic Triathlon

A description of our 52 KM (32.31 mile) Olympic Distance Triathlon in memory of our angel, daughter and amazing friend Laine N. Dempsey.

• RUN: Starting Line!!! We will begin the Triathlon with a 10km (6.93 Mile) run starting at 34 Harbor Heights Dr, Centerport, NY (Laine's Mom's house). Which will hit Centerport Beach Park, a beach Laine frequently visited, we will do 2 laps total to the beach and back to the Centerport House). --> 
• SWIM: We then will transition to a 1.5km (approx 1 Mile) swim starting from Laine's Centerport House beach dock to --> Bird Island to --> Scudder Park back to --> Laine's Centerport House beach dock.     -->
• BIKE: Lastly we will then transition to a 40km (24.85 Mile) bike from Laine's Centerport House, to --> 3 Swallow Lane, Huntington, NY. (Laine's Dads House) to -->  1121 Jericho Oyster Bay Rd, East Norwich, NY (Laine's Late Grandmas House) to --> 65 Fruitledge Rd, Glen Head, NY (Laine's Old House) then lastly to --> 494 Prospect Ave, Sea Cliff, NY. (Harry Tappen Beach Parking Lot) this beach was another place Laine frequented with her friends. and this is the Finish Line!!!!!!!!!
• We will stop here to celebrate with Laine's family, friends, & anyone that would like to join us in celebrating Laine, for refreshments and much-needed food. :)
