Lady of the Mountain Run

First National Bank and the City of Alamogordo present the 3rd Annual Lady of the Mountain Run on Saturday, December 10, 2016 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The run follows a hilly terrain that offers expansive views of White Sands National Monument and the Sacramento Mountains.

Proceeds benefit the Lady of the Mountain Scholarship at NMSU-Alamogordo. This is a needs-based educational scholarship administered by NMSU-A.

The run departs Griggs Sports Complex (Griggs Field) and heads uphill to Scenic Drive, then continues south on Scenic. The 5K turn-around is across from NMSU-A while the 10K turn-around is at the corner of 10th St. The half marathon continues to the end of Scenic Drive and then travels up and down Alamo Canyon Road, reenters Scenic and then detours through Desert Foothills Park. After emerging from the park, the course continues on Scenic back to Griggs Field.

Master's (40+, Male and Female):

3rd: $50

Half Marathon Relay: This is a four-person relay. Each team member will run 5K. The winning Otero County team will receive the traveling trophy.

• 14 years and younger
• 15 - 19 years old
• 20 - 29 years old
• 30 - 39 years old
• 40 - 49 years old
• 50 - 59 years old
• 60 - 69 years old
• 70 years and older
