Joana'sMiles 5k Run/Walk & 1 mile Fun Run Race Description

Welcome to the 4th Annual Joana'sMiles 5k run/walk and 1 mile fun run to benefit the Joana D. McKeoun Memorial Scholarship. The 5k course is a single loop on a beautiful wooded trail along the scenic Tittabawasse River. The 1 mile fun run is a single loop in the back of the park. 

Pre-registration is now open until July 31, 2017! 

The cost is $15.00, which includes a race shirt. 

 

Race-day registration is also available starting at 8:00 a.m. for $5.00. (Sorry, shirts are only available for pre-registered participants.)

1 mile Trail Fun Run starts at 9:00am 

5k Trail Run/Walk starts at 9:20am


All proceeds benefit the Joana D. McKeoun Memorial Scholarship. 



No frills, no age group awards, but an accurately measured course, a timed race with results, and overall winner award for the male and female champion of the 5k. 

Joana's mother established this scholarship in honor and in memory of her and to help local students get one step closer to achieving their dream of attending college - a dream Joana never abandoned and made a reality!

Nice setup - Trail running is fun!

My daughters (7/9) had a great day running this race for our first time! The DJ was great along with even better 'snacks'. My girls loved hearing their names as they raced for the finish line toe-to-toe!
