HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION

Tried contacting 3 times without any return courtesy phone call. NEVER AGAIN. Poor organization still posted entry for 2019 when obviously canceled.

2018, 1st Triathlon Ever

Last year, I was asked to join a friend in participating in the women’s tri at Smithville. I began training and was nervous as I had no idea what I was doing. I met someone who trains with the local tri shop and he suggested I do KC Heat. I signed up and I’m so glad I did! The encouragement + the assistance (my bike chain popped off at the furthest point on the bike ride) + the cheering = GREAT 1st Tri Experience
