Frost Bite 5k race & 1 mile fun run is an event hosted by Tahlequah Public Schools Cross Country teams to help promote and fund the program for current and future Tahlequah Cross Country Athletes
Course and Time:
The 5k race is open to all runners of all ages and abilities. The race is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. in Norris Park downtown Tahlequah. The course is a certified USA Track and Field accurately measured course. The course is a single loop course that begins and ends in front of Norris Park: the course loops up through Northeastern State University around to Tahlequah High School, then back toward Norris Park to the finish. The course is made up of a mixture of Long flat areas as well as a few short climbs and falls. Net Proceeds benefit Tahlequah Public Schools Cross Country Teams.
The 1 mile Fun Run will start shortly after the 5K. this course is also a loop that will begin and end in front of Norris Park
BIB/RACE NUMBER PICK-UP:
Race Packets/Tags can be picked up from 8-8:45 on race day near the start finish line.
PLEASE PLAN ON ARRIVING EARLY. LATE ARRIVALS MAY MISS THE START GUN.
The run is located at Norris Park in Tahlequah, OK.
PARKING: Parking will be behind Norris park on Water Avenue and along Muskogee avenue in available locations.
AWARDS FOR THE TIMED 5K:
Timed 5k- Medals will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each division. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place fun run finishers will receive a medal. In addition, the top male and female overall finishers will receive a Plaque. Awards will be presented shortly after the 1 mile fun run is completed.
Original long sleeve Frostbite run shirt included with all Registered before February 9th.
Age Groups for 5k:
8 and under, 9-12, 13-15, 16-19, 20-25... and so on, in five-year increments to 70+. There are no weight divisions
