Friends of 9-1-1 5K Race Description

About Run for 9-1-1

“Run for 9-1-1” is an annual charity 5K run (or walk) to benefit the Friends of 9-1-1, an initiative of NENA, the National Emergency Number Association.

Friends of 9-1-1 encourages public support and recognition of 9-1-1 professionals, the unsung heroes of public safety, by generating essential funds to provide scholarships, continuing education opportunities, and wellness programs for 9-1-1 professionals across the United States.

Event details and schedule

Experience historical San Antonio at sunrise! Kicking off at the Historic Sunset Station, the course includes scenic views of local landmarks like the Hays Street Bridge and other hidden gems.

 

  • Race time: 7AM - Officially timed event
  • Every participant will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal for completion.
  • Grand prizes for top 3 finishers, male & female
  • Great giveaways for all!
