Firecracker 5k and Mile

THE 5K IS FULL! THANK YOU FOR HELPING MAKE THIS OUR BIGGEST FIRECRACKER 5K EVER! THE MILE RUN HAS AVAILABLITY FOR AGES 12 AND UNDER. 

**NOTE: If registering after 12pm on July 2nd, bib pickup will be at UBTech the morning of the race.

The Dinosaurland Freedom Fest is back even bigger this year celebrating 250 years of America! 

Wear red, white and blue. Face paint. Whatever you want! Starting with the singing of the National Anthem and ending the race near the Field of Flags. Join the community for this patriotic tradition. 

Great race for the whole family and all ages! Strollers are welcome. No scooters, bikes, roller blades, etc. 

The Firecracker 5K Race will start at UBTECH @ 7am July 4th & finish at the Ashley Community Park . Shuttle buses will be available to transport runners from the park to UBTECH before the race from 6-6:45am. Or you can park near UBTech and USU. Some roads will be blocked off. Please do not attempt to drive or park in blocked off areas.   NO SHUTTLE SERVICE AFTER THE RACE. The 1 mile race will be held at 8 am for ages 12 and under at Ashley Community Park.  

Packet, shirt and bib pick up will be at Uintah Recreation Center July 3rd 5:00 am-7:00 pm or July 4th morning 6 am-6:45am at UBTECH parking lot. Check in at the race is not necessary if you already picked up your bib. NO REGISTRATION AFTER 6:45 AM! Please register early.  RACE DAY REGISTRATION (JULY 4TH) WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL $10. 

Register by June19th for t-shirt guarantee. Extra shirts will be given as available after this time. 

No Swag bags if register after July 2nd. After this time, runners will receive race bib for timed race, chance to win trophy and cash prize, race support and snacks, and finisher medal. Will receive a t-shirt if still available. 

Awesome custom medals for all runners, race shirt and swag bag. SPECIAL THIS YEAR- the first 250 people registered for the 5K will get a limited edition  America 250 pin! First 250 registered will be contacted and able to pick up their pin from Uintah Recreation 610 S Vernal Avenue between July 6th-8th. After that time, runners will be contacted in order of registration to collect pins. 

Top three runners for both men's and women's division will receive cash prizes, along with top three runners for the 1 mile race.

1 mile Race will start and end at Ashley Community park 8am July 4th with a 1 mile course

Bag pick up including shirt and race bib for the one mile race is at Uintah Recreation Center July 3rd 5:00 am-7:00pm or July 4th morning 7:15-7:45 am at Ashley Community Park.
