Fire Up for Autism Awareness 5K

Join us on Saturday April 25th to raise money for Summer Specialty Clinics and celebrate Autism Awareness at Central Michigan University! Walkers/ Runners are happily welcomed for this event. This is a fundraiser, so there will be no official timing or rewards provided. This race will go on rain or shine; all ages are welcome! The event will start at 9:00am (registration begins at 8:30am), and ends at 11:30pm. Registration will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door. The event is presented by CMU's department of Communication Sciences and Disorders and the Speech-Language and Hearing Club. All proceeds will benefit CMU's very own Summer Specialty Speech Clinic (SSC)! ALL money will be donated to help send children to SSC. Many students who attend the summer speech camp are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

There will be T-shirts sold with pre-registration for $10 or at the door for $15. The race will begin at Grawn Hall and the sign- in will be in room 100.
