Festival on the Bay 5k & Family fun run

In celebration of all things summer in Petoskey and our spectacular northern Michigan community, the YMCA of Northern Michigan is hosting the Festival on the Bay 5k and 1-mile family fun run in conjunction with Petoskey’s annual Festival on the Bay celebration and festivities.

You’ll exercise your heart in more ways than one when you sign up for this 5K or 1 mile family fun run - All proceeds from this event will support the Y’s financial assistance program, making it possible for our friends and neighbors in need to access programs like childcare, camp, and recreation programs at the Y regardless of their ability to pay!

• Early Bird (through July 31): $20 5K | $10 Fun Run

• Registration (starting Aug. 1): $30 5K | $15 Fun Run

• Kids 5 & under are free!

• Day of registration at Lime Kiln Pond begins at 7:30AM

Who: All ages welcome! Please have youth under 13 accompanied by an adult. Strollers and dogs are welcome!

What: A 5K (3.1 mile) qualifying course certified by USA Track & Field ??

Where: The race starts at Lime Kiln Pond in Bayfront Park and the course goes along Little Traverse Wheel Way.

When: The Saturday of Festival on the Bay weekend, August 17th, starting at 8:00am 

Why: To get outside, celebrate Petoskey, and focus on your health & wellness while supporting your community through the Y!
