Family Color Run

The 3rd Annual Safe Journeys Color Run is Saturday, June 15 at Twister Hill Park in Streator, IL. The walk/run is along the Hopalong Cassidy Trail. There is one road crossing toward the beginning of the event. Stationed along the trail, volunteers will be ready to “color” you.* The run takes you on a 1.5 mile loop and returns to the park. The event is open to individuals and families. Every 10 minutes starting at 8:30am, a new group will set off on the color run. The final heat will leave the starting line at 9:20am. Sign up for a time to walk/run on the registration form. Our rain date is set for the following Saturday, June 22. If we need to postpone the event due to weather, Safe Journeys will contact you before the event. 

The cost of registration covers the participant fee and the t-shirt. Any registration after May 20 will not be guaranteed a t-shirt. 

All proceeds will go to support the mission of Safe Journeys to empower survivors of domestic and sexual violence and to end such violence in our communities. Safe Journeys serves LaSalle and Livingston counties.

*If you do not wish to receive a color or more color, please let the volunteer know. They will ensure your safety and comfort by not coloring you.
