EHYFS Ride or Stride Race Description

PRICE INCREASES BY $5 ON MONDAY, SEPT. 30TH

There is a way for everyone to be involved with Ride or Stride!

You can ride, run, walk, volunteer or donate 

RIDE in one of the 3 route options

36 Mile Gravel Grinder: start time 7:45

This ride is on scenic maintained active roads and unmaintained fire/Jeep roads. A challenging route recommended for experienced riders. Cyclocross, gravel bike or a mountain bike required. NOT for road bikes.

23 Mile Backroad Burner: start time 9:30

This ride is on beautiful, low traffic country roads along lakes and through Devils Hopyard State Park. Includes a few challenging hills

10 Mile Causeway Cruiser: start time 10:00

A shorter road ride passing a farm and the lakes.

STRIDE Walk or Run options

Foliage 5K: start time 11:00

This run will be hand timed and results posted so that it counts as an official town for Run 169.  If you are a "169 Club" runner you should choose this option to check East Haddam off your list.  

Foliage Five K: Walk, same route but not timed

 

All Events Start/Finish at East Haddam Sportsmen's Club: 299 East Haddam/Colchester Turnpike, Moodus, CT 06469

 

Students receive a $5.00 discount, please email us for the code. 

East Haddam Town & School Staff receive a $25.00 discount from your insurance provider, Connecticare.  Please contact us for the code. 

A family discount is available.  Please contact us for a discount code.
