Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars Memorial 5K Race Description

The Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars 5K is held annually to honor those law enforcement officers across this country who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while following their call to serve and protect our communities.  Revenue generated from the race is entrusted to the Hotsinpiller Foundation to provide scholarships for those who wish to pursue or enhance their law enforcement career, support local law enforcement agencies and their mission, and assist injured officers and their families. 

  

The Annual Derek Hotsinpiller Fallen Stars Memorial 5K 

will be held In Person and Virtually on Saturday, June 7th, 2025

Here are the most important details for our Local Runners: 
  • Race Location: Bridgeport City Park
  • Race Time: Promptly at 8:30am 
  • Packet Pick-up is from 7am -8am 
  • We would love for you to share with us your photos and videos from Race day! Please Tag us @DHFS5K and use the tags (#DHFS5K and #DHFS5K2025) or if you prefer, send them privately to DHFS5K@gmail.com.

I’ve ran this race serval times. The course is challenging but fun. The race venue is in a great community. Everyone gets involved.
