Centerville Freedom Run

Please join us for the 47th annual Freedom Run in Centerville, Utah.  All net revenue from this event is used by the Centerville-Farmington Rotary Club for its international humanitarian and local service projects.  This event includes 5K and One-Mile distances for all ages, and a free schoolyard race for children 8 years old and younger.

5K Registration

This year we are using a professional race timing service to provide more reliable and timely 5K race results.  The 5K fee is $17 ($12 for runners under 12) if registered by May 31, plus $10 for a shirt (optional).  As of June 1 the 5K fee increases to $20 ($15 for runners under 12).  Online registration ends at 10 p.m. on July 2.  On July 3 and 4 registration is in-person only and increases to $25 for all runners.   5K race times will be reported and ranked within groups according to gender and age. Prizes will be given to the first 3 finishers in each gender/age group.  The 5K begins at 7:00 a.m. behind City Hall.  

One-Mile Registration

For the first time, the One-Mile race is open to all ages.   The fee is $5 for runners under 12 years old and $8 for all others.  Register online until 10 p.m. on July 2.  On July 3 and 4 registration is in-person only and increases to $7 for runners under 12 years old and $10 for all others.  The first 10 finishers under 12 years old will receive ribbons.  The One-Mile begins at 8:00 a.m. behind City Hall.  

Bib Pickup and In-Person Registration

Pick up bibs and t-shirts at City Hall (250 N. Main) on July 3 from 7-10 a.m. and 4-8 p.m. or on July 4 between 6:00 and 6:45 a.m. in the park pavilion.  In-person registration may also occur at these times.  

Free Schoolyard Children’s Races

Only children ages 8 and under are eligible.  No registration is required. Races begin about 8:15 a.m. in schoolyard next to 100 East behind City Hall.  Depending on the number of participants, this race may be staged according to age groupings.
