CCS5K Glow Run Race Description

Lace up for a night to remember at the third annual CCS5K Glow Run! We are ready to set the school parking lot aglow with serious runners and casual walkers in our chip-timed 5K, alongside families and friends joining for a 1-mile walk. It is not just about the finish line but the community and the celebration. From the seasoned athletes to the strolling participants, it's a night for all to enjoy fitness, laughter, and a sky full of stars. Be part of this luminous night and keep the tradition shining bright. 

 

Exciting Prize Purse Announcement!

This year, we are upping the stakes!

Adults: Top 3 Male & Female finishers win $300, $200, $100.

Youth 14 and Under: Top 3 Male & Female finishers win $150, $100, $50.

 

ANNOUNCING "THE RACE OF CHAMPIONS

This year, we are bringing a special sparkle to the night with an exciting new addition: "The Race of Champions," a pre-race event for individuals with permanent intellectual impairment. It is not just a race; it's a glowing celebration of courage, determination, and inclusion!

 

Date: Friday, April 19th, 2024 

 

Race Kicks Off at:

7:00 PM — Race Of Champions

7:30 PM — 5K Glow Run Begins

8:00 PM — 1M Walk Begins

 

Distance: 400M | 5K Run/Walk | 1M Run/Walk

 

POST-RACE PARTY 

Celebrate Your Glow-rious Achievement! 

Location: Inside door#9

Time: Immediately following the last finisher of the 5K race

 

Virtual Runners! Unable to run/walk but would like to support the event and receive a Race T-shirt, to be picked up during runner packet pick-up days.  Race will be canceled if severe weather conditions arise for the safety of all participants. We will post if the event is canceled.
