Catch Me If You Can isn't your typical 2-mile race. This fun Hero vs. Villain chase puts a twist on race day — you choose your side!

Will you join the Villains and try to escape? Or become a Hero and chase them down?

Run it. Walk it. Dress up. Bring your friends and family. Costumes are encouraged, but definitely not required.

HOW THE CHASE WORKS

When you register, choose your team: Hero or Villain.

At 9:00 AM, the Villains take off first with a 2-minute head start.

At 9:02 AM, the Heroes are released.

Then the chase is on!

There is no physical tagging. Heroes simply try to safely pass as many Villains as they can before reaching the finish line.

Everyone completes the full 2-mile course, whether you're caught or you escape.

VILLAINS — CAN YOU ESCAPE?

You've got a 2-minute advantage. Use it!

Your mission is to stay ahead of the Heroes and make it to the finish before they close the gap.

Every Villain finisher gets an “I ESCAPED!” sticker to celebrate completing their mission.

HEROES — CAN YOU CATCH ’EM?

The Villains have a head start. Your job is to chase them down!

At 9:02 AM, take off and see how many Villains you can pass before you cross the finish line.

Every Hero finisher gets an “I CAUGHT ’EM!” sticker to celebrate completing their mission.

HEROES VS. VILLAINS — WHO WILL WIN?

You're not just racing for yourself — you're racing for your team.

The official chase clock begins when the Villains take off at 9:00 AM. After everyone crosses the finish line, we'll compare the average finish-clock time of Team Hero and Team Villain.

The team with the lowest average chase time wins!

The Villains' 2-minute head start is part of their advantage. That means the Heroes will need to make up those two minutes if they want to win the chase.

Individual race results will still reflect each participant's actual running time.

RACE MORNING

Packet Pickup: 7:30–8:30 AM
Villain Start: 9:00 AM
Hero Start: 9:02 AM
Distance: 2 Miles

Please have your packet picked up by 8:30 AM so we can get everyone ready and divided into their Hero and Villain starting groups before the chase begins.

Additional packet pickup opportunities, course information, parking details, and race-day instructions will be added as we get closer to race day.

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

This race is about having fun!

Runners and walkers of different ages and abilities are welcome. Whether you're trying to set a fast 2-mile time, chasing down every Villain you can find, or just enjoying the experience with your family, there's a place for you in the chase.

Costumes are encouraged but not required.

Come dressed as your favorite Hero or Villain, create your own character, or just show up ready to run.
