Fun times in the Dirt!
I really like trail races, and this is a smooth dirt road (easier on my body), but isn't really a trail race. However, the course is beautiful and tough--more uphills than downhills on the way back! The trophies are awesome and unique! The hat was ok, but I'm guessing not a lot of women will wear the trucker CAT hat. (If you want advertising, give the option/choice of a shirt or a running style hat.) You could add mile markers and masters awards. Overall, it was a very fun event, seeing the big equipment and racing through the hills. I will be back!

Super Fun
I originally signed up for the race because it was a trail race. The added bonus was my son was in the JTED Heavy Equipment Operations class and had a field trip that day to the same location. What an amazing experience! The race was a blast and I came to understand why my son loves those big machines. I can’t wait for it to open up again.
