Every year over 4000 children between the ages of 1 and 4 loose their life to Drowning.  Drowning, like many other tragedies, doesn't care who it takes from us and who it effects.

Tennessee rates #18 in states for the most drowning.  Ranking in any way is too many.  That is what makes us push even harder to get the information out that DROWNING IS PREVENTABLE
and Water Safety is a key component. 

With providing information through this event before the Wave and Swimming Pools open for the season we will have the words "BE AWARE AND BE SAFE" on the hearts and minds of the participants.

• On-Sight Registration:  8am-8:45
• Opening Announcements: 8:45-9
• 5K Begins: 9am
• Closing Announcements, Awards & Prizes: 10am
