As anew runner this was the perfect challenge to see where I need to improve. Went out early in the morning and enjoyed the quiet time alone.

I always love to support the Carlisle YMCA. I thought the virtual run was a good option for everyone. I am disappointed that the idea of finisher medals was so quickly turned down, given how easy it is to have finished medals to all of these virtual races. Also, you cannot print the bibs or finisher certification. You can view but not print them. Very frustrating. You could add a link to the website to make submitting your results easier because if you didn’t have your confirmation email it was hard to submit the result. Overall I like this event but there are some logistics that should be improved for the future
I ran the race in Huntsville, AL on Thanksgiving morning. It was a perfect day to walk, however I had a very difficult time finding how to enter my results. I would suggest an easy to access user link in a much more obvious location on the Y website.
It was nice to be able to participate even though I missed the camaraderie of running with a group of people on Thanksgiving morning. Hope it will be back to normal next year.
