Capital City AT HOME for Organ, Tissue & Eye Donation Race Description

The CAPITAL CITY AT HOME is a day for all recipients, donor families, living donors and donation advocates to unite in spirit while walking, running or biking in their local parks, neighborhoods or scenic trails. Together, as one community, we will honor ALL donors and celebrate the gift of life.

2020 marks an important milestone for organ and tissue donation – the 10th anniversary of the launching of the online donor registry in Wisconsin.

On July 25, we will honor all deceased donors and the more than 7,000 lives that have been saved since the Registry’s launch in 2010.

At 6:30pm (Central) we will come together to celebrate a run well done and our progress in transplantation during a LIVE virtual Closing Ceremony.

After you register, start raising awareness by asking for pledges/contributions. The money raised will be used to directly support the transplant and advocacy programs of the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin.

The proceeds from this fundraising event will help the National Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin move closer to achieving its mission – to increase the availability of all organs for transplant.
