Technology uses trust signals to identify good actors online. If you’re missing these trust signals, it can harm your ability to connect with your audience through digital marketing.
One key trust signal for email communication is domain validation. You used to be able to validate your email address domain via email. However, many email service providers are going a step further because of abuse by bad actors.
The new domain validation system comes directly from your website.
You need to verify your domain so that your emails reach your attendees and prospective attendees. Ensuring that you’ve verified your domain is vital to your race’s revenue and success.
We'll cover how to verify your domain on GoDaddy. If you use another service provider, visit the links below to learn more about how to do it on your service provider.
Tip: Even if your domain is at GoDaddy or one of the above, that doesn't necessarily mean that they handle your DNS routing. The below DKIM verification process needs to be completed wherever you are handling the DNS records for your domain name.
