Join us for the third of our Trail Running Series races.
Race #1: Smithfield Trail Race 15 September 2019 - done.
Race #2: Atherton Forest Trail Race 3 November 2019 - done.

If you are keen, you can purchase a great medal for each race - together the three medals will show you've done the full series! If you missed the other two events, you can register to do them as a Virtual Dynamic Runner to claim your medals.
You must be 18 years or older to complete this form.
This event has two race distances: 21.1km and 35km.
A packed lunch is included in your race fee.
21km competitors can opt to be included in the transport option (cost is $25).
This is a SELF-SUPPORTED event, competitors must carry all their own water and nutrition to sustain them for 18km. There is NO tap water along the course and the first creek is at about 14km.
Mandatory gear is:
2 x compression bandages (10cmx2.3m)
water container (e.g. running pack or drink bottles) to carry 2L water.

The 35km is a looped course. Competitors in the 35km race must supply their own transport. Car pooling is recommended.
The 21km is a point to point course and the finish is about 12km from the start along a dirt road that requires a 4-wheel or all-wheel drive to access. Competitors in the 21km race must have a support crew to drop them off at Quaid Road and pick them up on Black Mountain Road when they exit the Twin Bridges Track OR you must pay for transport and we will organise to get you to the start and back to your car at Smithfield Shopping Centre.
Every one meets at Smithfield Shopping Centre (by the Cinema complex) for registration at 6.00am. We drive out to the start location which is on the corner of Black Mountain Road and Quaid Road (26km down Black Mountain Road from the turn off at the Kennedy Highway). You will be back in Cairns at approximately 12.00pm. The race starts at approximately 7.00am.
The winners of the series will be announced at the end of the this race in the series.
