Bird in hand half
This is my favorite half marathon. I love the atmosphere. You couldn’t be surrounded by any friendlier and generous people. I’m a big time horse lover and love the idea to follow a horse and buggy to stay on course. The balloon launching is beautiful. Seeing the majestic farmland puts me at ease even tho I’m running 13.1 miles. The beautiful surroundings and a perfect route to run a half makes it an enjoyable experience. The delicious food after the race is a true reward. I love the horseshoe finisher medals so unique and one of a kind. I highly recommend this half marathon. Please support this very kind and generous community.
