Such a FUN RACE!!!

It's been a blast every time I've done this race. 1st leg is the run which is relatively flat the first half, and then a brutal trail climb to Lake Padden. Ohhh and then the Mt. Bike leg is only 6 miles, and the first mile is flat and then an epic hill climb followed by some single track technical terrain, and two more brutal hills. You'll be absolutely wiped once you finish that leg to the trail run, which is just a lap around Lake Padden, and by far the easiest leg. The road bike leg has two brutal hills, and that is where you can do a lot of damage catching or dropping people. Once you finish that last hill it's like a 6 mile sprint to the kayak leg. I couldn't tell you how the Kayak leg is, I injured my shoulder on the Mt. Bike leg, and was unable to do the Kayak leg. However, I had a surfski, and was ready to dominate the dojo. I'm excited to finish the race this year it is such a blast, and even more fun with a team!!
