Back Road Relay Race Description
Join the Lawrence Community Club and the Nelson Community Club on September 16th for the 2023 Back Road Relay. 
Register your team (up to 6) for a relay run/walk beginning at Dick's Place in Lawrence, NE and ending at the Elk Creek Country Club in Nelson, NE
NEW THIS YEAR: Walking relay route. This route will be approximately 6 miles. Teams of up to 6 can participate in the walking relay.
This 20ish mile running relay and 6ish mile walking relay will conclude with a gathering at the Elk Creek Country club with First Street Brewery, food by Brodstone Healthcare and sno cones by the L/N Wrestling Team. 
Prizes will be awarded to teams with the best team name and best team uniform. Each team is responsible for their own transportation throughout the route.
Team captain must register, create a team name and pay the entry fee. Additional team members can then enter and join an existing team. Teams are limited to 6 members.Send us a message or reach out to Lisa Peterson petersonlj1@gmail.com if you have questions about registration.
T-shirts will be given to those who are registered by September 1st.
Registration fee is $150 per team. Proceeds will be split between the Lawrence and Nelson Community Clubs.
