Aliante Cares Family 5K

Please join us for a “May the Fourth” Family Costumed 5K Fun Run/Walk.

Date/Time: May 4, 2019. Check-in will begin at 8:00 am with the Run/Walk to start at 9:00 am

Location: Aliante Nature Discovery Park, 2627 Nature Park Drive in North Las Vegas, NV

Adults $25.00, Children under eighteen $15.00, Family Teams of up to 6 individuals $45.00, Virtual Runner/Walker  $20.00  Optional 1 mile $20.00.

Pre-Registration is now closed.  One-site registration is available May 4, 2019.  Cash and checks only.  No credit cards accepted on-site.

Break out your best hero costume and join Aliante Cares for our 1st Annual “May the Fourth” family costumed 5K fun run/walk benefiting Nature Discovery Park.  This is a fun and special event that supports renovations at the park.  All proceeds will be used to get new sand for the dinosaur bones digging pit.

All those who are pre-registered and participate in a the event will receive a t-shirt, a certificate of completion, and water bottle. (Must be present to claim your shirt, certificate and water bottle.) Late registrations and “Day Of” walkups will be considered as space permits.

The run will be held entirely within the boundary of Nature Discovery Park in Aliante.  Bring the whole family to run, walk, or jog around the park.  All fitness levels are welcome.

We hope that you will choose to wear your favorite hero costume, but costumes are not required. There’s also an optional 1 mile walk for those who think doing a 5K is crazy!  And for those who prefer to not to run at all, you may register as a “Virtual Runner” to show your support.  Race sponsorships are also available.  Scroll down to see sponsor list.  This event will not be chip timed.

No Refunds! 

However, we will permit you to transfer your registration to another individual. Please print out the registration confirmation email, write on the email you are transferring your registration to ______ ,  sign it and have the individual bring it with them the day of the run.

Please remember that all the work that goes into organizing this run is done by an unpaid, all volunteer committee. The registration fee covers the cost of putting on the event for you and the other participants. We hope you understand.
