5K Strong-Illinois Jaycees Virtual 5K Race Description

Amid social distancing, the Illinois Jaycees are hosting their inaugural “Today We are One 5K Stronger” Virtual 5K. Being virtual, you can participate anywhere within the dates of Saturday, May 16, 2020, to Friday, July 10, 2020. Participants can run, walk, bike, rollerblade, or roll in a wheelchair!

The Virtual 5K is open to anyone including Jaycees, families, and community members. As part of the 5K, the Illinois Jaycees will be providing a training program with health and fitness exercises for participants at all levels of fitness.

As cities across the state all face different challenges, the Illinois Jaycees are raising funds for St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, United Way, and participating Illinois chapters.
