This race is not about your time or winning an age group award. After 40 years of running, we return to this race year after year to support a great cause. This race is about giving back to our community and giving thanks for the men and women who wear a uniform to give their time and efforts to keep us safe. It is very well organized and is a great way to spend time with family and friends. Run or walk, it's worth your effort to support the Swatara Township Police Department. Corpal Pocrop does an excellent organizing this race with safety on the course. The large flag from the fire department at half way point is so inspirational, and finishing through he shopping mall is one of a kind. we carry flags to honor any hero every year. We will be back as long as the race is held. GREAT job Swatara Township!
