Zombie Apocalypse Run

There has been a Zombie Outbreak and you are the only one who can save the world. This exciting cross-country course will challenge your speed and agility as you race to find the antidote hidden along a winding course of the Northwest Area Campus. Return the antidote and save the world. You will be greatly rewarded for your valiant effort. But be warned if you are stopped by the Zombies you to may be infected.  Each participant will be given two Zombie repellents. This repellent can be use if stopped by any Zombie. If stopped by a Zombie without any repellent, they will stop you for 10 seconds.

Medals will be awarded to the top three males, females, and youth runners. 

**Special Award to the fastest runner who find the Zombie outbreak Antidote hidden along the course. and returns it to
the finish line. Note if you are caught by a zombie and you do not have any repellent left you must put down the
antidote where you stand.

Walk

Enjoy a one-mile walk around the Northwest Area High School grounds, without the hassle of zombie attacks.  No medals will be awarded to walkers. 

Kids Costume Fun Run

New this year!  Kids ages 10 and under can race one lap around the track and show off their costumes!  Free candy will be available at the finish for all kids running.  No medals will be given for the fun run participants.

All participants will sign a waiver before running this Zombie course. Waivers will be signed at the registration table the
day of the race.

Registration begins at 8:00 and race promptly starts at 9:00, with Kid's Costume Fun Run to follow.
