Wiregrass 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb & 5k Walk/Ruck

The Wiregrass 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb & Walk/Ruck is a community event dedicated to honoring and remembering the first responders who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Participants can choose to take part in the Memorial Stair Climb, climbing in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, or participate in the 5K Walk/Ruck as another meaningful way to remember and honor all those lost on 9/11. Each participant that registers will receive an honor badge with the name and photo of a first responder to climb/walk/ruck in honor of. 

This event is not a race or competition. Participants of all ages and abilities are encouraged to take part at their own pace. Stair climbers are welcome to climb as much as they are able—you do not have to complete all 110 floors to participate or make your climb meaningful.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, we invite the Wiregrass community to come together for an evening of remembrance, gratitude, and unity. Whether you climb one flight or 110 floors, walk the 5K, carry a ruck, volunteer, or simply come to support the participants, you are helping us keep our promise to Never Forget.
